I read your comment over 3 minutes ago and I am still chuckling. That’s probably going to be the funniest thing I read all day.
And, on a side note, Yuengling's owner loves Trump and the constitution so the leftists were all over them trying to boycott.
I live near a very large military base, and because of that we have a German store in town. I can get every kind of German import you can imagine, with all the food to match up with it!
I typically just pick some big assortment of cans and just try them out. Otherwise a guaranteed beer is Bitburger.
I see that the silly IPA fad is still hanging tough. Though before the COVID I noticed that bars were starting to offer a greater variety of beers than when IPA was all the rage.
Try one of these.
Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan
Wheat beer. They have been making BEER there since 1040.
Disappointed....Did not mention of: Pabst Blue Ribbon, Hamms, Olympia, Schlitz, Schaefer, Rolling Rock or Iron City.
Old School all the way....
A fancy beer is a cheap way of giving yourself a treat.
It’s the male version of buying a new tube of lipstick.
Mary Kay Cosmetics has worked this angle for decades. You can’t afford a trip, but you can afford some new makeup.
I see quite a few of my faves on the list - including Sierra Nevada Pale Ale at #1 and their Hazy Little Thing at #9.
This one isn’t on the list, but when I’m in the mood for something lighter I reach for Longboard Lager from Kona Brewing. It’s sort of like Budweiser with an enjoyable flavor... so, not really like Budweiser, I guess.
Q: What does Bud Light have in common with making love on the beach?
A: It’s f**king close to water.
Molson Export was my favorite. Bud was my staple. It’s all the devil’s water now (to me).

“A beer is a beer. Who cares?”
Reminds me of an old joke...
The CEOs of Miller, Coors, Budweiser, Pabst, and Guiness were in a meeting and they all decide to go to lunch.
The waitress comes to take the drink order The CEO of Budweiser ordered a Bud. The CEO of Coors orders a Coors. The CEO of Miller orders a Miller and so on.
The CEO of Guiness orders a Coke. The other CEOs ask, “what, you are not ordering a beer?”
To which he replied, “ Well if none of you are going to”.
I like a good IPA. But IPA’s are played out, and very few of them are good anymore. I’ve had a few that tasted like Pine-Sol.
I used to love IPAs, the hoppier the better. Now, I'm sort of IPA'd out, too. I like the poll's choice of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. That's my speed these days. I used to love their Torpedo IPA.
Here's hoping.
Who new that a beer whose only attribute was that it was hopped up enough to survive a sailboat trip to India would catch all the hipsters' fancy.
