It is. When my precious rusty started going blind, he needed me a lot more. When he lost sight in both eyes, he would cry, even in the middle of the night, and I would find him facing a wall and lost. I finally figured out I just had to call his name a n d he would follow my voice and find me.

Oh poor baby. I hate it when animals have to face stuff like that, they don’t understand what’s happening.

I found three kittens once, they were all blind from birth. And they adjusted remarkably well. But I had an older persian that had glaucoma and eventually went blind. She did not adjust at all. She did okay when she had Shadows but when it was completely dark she just couldn’t deal with it. I would sleep on the floor with her and when she tried to go somewhere I tried to guess what she needed. Food or the litter box. She never did figure it out. I had to have her put to sleep.

It doesn’t upset me NIKK. I’m logical too, and not very patient, so that’s my problem. I’m wasn’t born in Missouri but my mother was, LOL. I do appreciate seeing both sides of something, and you know that I do, so carry on.
