Back in the 50's, my best pal and I watched (B&W TV) every episode of Victory at Sea.
Even now, hearing Richard Rogers' theme, Song of the High Seas makes me want to drag out my well-worn Wm. Wise "Pictorial History of World War II"!
In fact, I just attached the disc player -- and now, the Victory at Sea soundtrack is playing on my laptop while I FReep... '-)
