Netflix’s disappointing third quarter earnings was the result of subscribers canceling their service at eight times the usual rate because of anger over the controversial French film Cuties, it has been reported.

Data unearthed by two analytics firms indicate that there was a sharp uptick in the number of people who cancelled their subscriptions at around the same time that calls were growing for a boycott of Netflix over its airing of Cuties.

That did it for me too, and other family members. Was a member for 12 years, no more. If the CommieKrats wanna take over Netflix, let them have it, doesn’t mean I have to pay for it.

Please make sure you let them know why.

The most effective method is to send snail mail to each member of the Board of Directors.

It _really_ gets their attention!

There may be a huge increase in people leaving Netflix but the data shows the number of subscribers is growing. The battle is not yet over. Decency is still losing.

I didn’t compare. But please twist those words.
And please stop trying to justify the sinful & harmful damage of ADULT porn.
Learn to control yourself.
Get a grip.

Saying that porn doesn’t lead to adultery, divorce & abuse is simply denying the truth. And stewing in your addiction.
But hey if you have to justify it...

Congratulations. You warned me not to twist words, and twisted words yourself in the same paragraph.

You must be a riot at parties. Oh wait, you’re probably too prudish to party.

Maybe it does in some cases. I’m not arguing that porn is good and wholesome or good for society, but that is between the producer and consumer as long as everyone involved is an adult.

Don’t imagine that just because I think the government shouldn’t ban something that I neccessarily approve of it. That isn’t how believing in a free society works.

Exactly ! Something I've been saying for years. A phone call or an e-mail may, at best get logged for or against but will most likely wind up in the bit-bucket.

A letter, on the other hand will HAVE to be opened, most likely by a secretary in the executives office and read.
One never knows if there's an enclosed check, legal document or correspondence from an important customer.

I recommend this technique in any situation that needs to get to the attention of the All-High MucketyMucks at the head of a company.

No I don’t think you’re saying porn is good. I understand your point. I don’t want government intrusion into our lives either.
Fact is too many see teenage girls as viable sex partners; when they can’t possibly deal with the physical, emotional & mental aspects regardless of “legal age” status.
People who exploit that are filth.

The age of majority used to be 21. I am not sure why it got moved down to 18 to be honest.
