Sean Lennon just cant imagine why protesters would try to take Abraham Lincoln down.
The son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono got on Twitter Monday to ask his 307,000 followers: Can someone explain why it appears a Lincoln statue was toppled in Portland? Asking for a friend.
The 45-year-old musician was responding to Sunday nights protests in the Oregon city billed as an Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage over the Christopher Columbus holiday, in which a crowd toppled statues of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.
Lennon then appeared to mock the protesters by sarcastically suggesting that Egyptian pyramids should also be destroyed.
The Pyramids of Giza were made under coercion from evil Pharaohs who were not very woke. I think we can all agree the Pyramids should be torn down immediately, he tweeted.
Italy also has a lot to answer for, Lennon quipped.
Since the invasion of Britain by Emperor Julius Caesar in 55 B.C., Italy has remained deafeningly silent, he wrote. I think its time Italy was held accountable.

Some were suggesting in his final days, John was becoming more conservative, much to Yoko's chagrin.
John and Reagan met once during a Monday Night Football game, Reagan put his arm around John as he was explaining the rules of football. So I would imagine that made an impression on him.
It was a rhetorical question!
Ya think he got it from Mom?
Good catch. The current generation struggles to remember five minutes ago so history is a bit too much challenge.
I've spoken with young people who can't distinguish between two hundred and two thousand years in the past.
Your are correct - technically. But...
His cognomen was subsequently adopted as a synonym for "Emperor"; the title "Caesar" was used throughout the Roman Empire, giving rise to modern cognates such as Kaiser and Tsar.

Regards,
Could be, but I somehow doubt it. I used to be a big fan of John Lennon I might add.
Yoko's a sad case; she clearly suffers from a mental impairment that causes her to beclown herself without a hint of shame. That he would pick that as his child's mother doesn't say much for John.
Don't know much about Sean but I'm not inclined to award the Congressional medal for recognizing the monumentally obvious.
if he has to ask, then hes too stupid to understand the answer ...
The reference to "imagining" was an ironic call-back to his father's most-famous anti-civilization song, "Just Imagine."
Regards,
What's with the superscripted "7" at the end of your question?
As for your request, 15 seconds of googling gave this result:

Love this tweet by him on climate change;
“The unending end of the world is getting tiresome...”
As it was in the beginning, so it is now:
Some people create, and some people destroy.
The only answer is as much separation as possible between the creators and the destroyers.
According to “My Beatles Story” on Netflix, his butler stated taht John said he would vote for Reagan over Carter shortly before his death.
Imagine there’s no statues. It’s easy if you try.
Sounds like he mostly knows what he’s talking about. Good for Sean.
Does Sean Lennon understand his music career in the USA just ended?
5-4-3...until Lennon is on one knee begging America to forgive his white and Japanese privilege.
Supposedly he has a $200m net worth and is 45 so he probably doesn’t need to worry about that.
#27. My name in Hebrew is “king” and I eat salads with a Caesar salad dressing on it. What does that make me besides healthy and throneless (unless you substitute the toilet)?
“A horse, a horse, my non-existent kingdom for a horse”.
To which Kamala Harris interjected, “Here I am”.
I replied, “I said a horse, not a whore”
.
“It’s great to be a king!”
John had become much more conservative before his murder and was taking Sean to Sunday school. He also provided bullet proof vests to the NYPD. Hippy John was giving way to conservative John. According to his own diaries, he also accepted Christ.
