If the woman’s mother submitted to the sexual depredation of her jailer so she could survive, I salute her eternal memory. She is a hero who beat the Nazis by not being murdered by them. Human beings have been forced to do much worse. It’s the guard’s family who have much to be ashamed of, not the victim’s.
