I came across a video I posted here a month or so ago by somebody driving through NYC and showing how vacant it was - the poster - who hadn’t himself/herself made the video - came under lots of vitriol on Twitter ala “it’s not like that anymore” ... but reports such as yours continues to confirm it may not be as vacant as it was at the peak of COVID-19 lockdowns but, nonetheless, it appears it’s still pretty barren. ThankQ for the report. WWG1WGA :)
CLARIFICATION:
Broadway is shut. restaurants at ? capacity. Retail, didn’t notice.
Stopped at Brooklyn Bridge park, on the way. People out, enjoying the day.
No thugs, no trouble.
Silver lining.
NY is in play.
Why wouldn’t it be? THey’re still under lockdown. Nothings changed, and Dopo is talking about putting zip codes under house arrest. So if there are people there, I’m sure they’re not walking around on the streets much.
Jason Goodman of Crowdsource the Truth lives in NYC and walks the streets a few times a week, filming what he sees.
