A teacher in a Tacoma middle school kicked a ten-year-old student out of his remote learning chatroom and scolded him for responding to a question about a person he admires with the answer Donald J. Trump.
According to a report by KTTH afternoon host Jason Rantz at mynorthwest.com, Brendan Stanton, a teacher at P.G. Keithley Middle school, poses a question of the day each day to his sixth grade students. On Friday, he asked them, Who is the one person you admire and why?
Students could write their responses in the online chatroom. A screenshot in Rantzs story shows Elsy Kusanders son wrote:
I admire Donald J. Trump because he is making America great again. And because he is the best president the United States of America could ever, ever have. And he built the wall so terrorists couldnt come into in the U.S. Trump is the best person in the world. And thats why I admire him.
The report notes Stanton almost immediately kicked the student out of the chatroom, deleted the chat, and proceeded to attack the president, while calling out the student for mentioning him.

Oops.
Triggered the teacher, hah hah.
Shows what’s happening in our schools.
sue them.
Public schools = child abuse.
It would be ok to admire any Democrats or any Hollywood idiot celebrity. But admire the President??? My God, that boy needs to go to reeducation camp.
I went to elementary school just as the communist party (Bill Ayers) was getting its claws really dug in, but before it became illegal in Chicago to provide the best teachers to the homeowners who paid the highest property taxes.
Ergo, I cannot, in any part of my mind conjure a scenario in which a child would be reprimanded for expressing admiration for the President of the United States.
This another splendid argument in favor of school choice.
The left in academia ban kids for admiring president Trump. Those same leftists have no problem propagandizing kids for president Obama.
Barack Hussein Obama Mmm Mmm Mmm:

He would have gotten an A+ if he said Obama.
This is BS and needs to stop. This AH should be fired on the stop for punishing a kid for showing support our president.
Hard to believe these American hating leftist get away with this sh*t.
My silly question: Will there be any consequences to the teacher or the school? Don’t think so.

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
“You should admire Hillary like your classmate Guido does.”
“Yeah, dat gal can hide the bodies better than any old man’s mob boss, he always says!”
These things never hit the LSM because a lot of parents would be in an uproar...
The education system (from K through college) all claim to be tolerant, diverse, have free speech, and strive to hear different ideas....
Yeah....sure they do........
Teacher works for the state. State is government. Government shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech.....
When does the teacher go to jail?
I got something like that once long ago long ago long ago - very demoralizing and likely an academic set back for the kid.
Thanks to the teacher we now have a young new Patriot in the 10 year old.Hows that for a positive spin?
It’s due time that they turn these kids into millionaires, after the fashion of master Nick Sandmann.
