Left-wing documentary director and Joe Biden supporter Michael Moore floated the conspiracy theory that president Donald trump could be “lying about having COVID-19 to prepare us and counteract his game” and “gain sympathy” ahead of the Presidential election.
“Democrats, liberals, the media and others have always been wrong to simply treat him as a buffoon and a dummy and a jackass. Yes, he is all those things. But he’s also canny. He’s clever. He outfoxed Comey. He outfoxed Mueller.

With the quick turn over of the 24/7 news cycle I doubt this will even be a story within a week..something new will move into the news cycle.

President Trump may have been soldiering on at the Presidential debate, not realizing he was feeling the first effects of the infection, but he was not looking for sympathy in any way, shape, form, or manner. He was doing his job in the style and elegance that only he can muster.
