At the time, of course, I only had a vague understanding of what was going on. By my early twenties, though, it began to sink in. Walking home after a late night out, and finding an Eldorado with its windows blown out and two bloody bodies in the front seats, it finally registered.

I’ve heard the name The Purple Gang, but don’t know about them. Will have to research.
