The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, youll be solving them all within a few days. If youre stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hals Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please dont put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Solution to our last puzzle. Simply scroll your cursor over the text while left clicking your mouse, and the words should appear.

Off to the races.
Thank you for posting these puzzles. I really enjoy them.
Curious, when you post the times for good, excellent, superior, are those gauges yours or the Gazettes?
Some of my times are way out of whack; I get some of the hard ones in the superior range, yet some of the easy ones take me a bit longer.
Easy Peasy
Due to the fact I have developed mad problem solving skillz.
Thank you, Nikos1121, for all your time and effort posting these puzzles!
‘Tricky’ with all the double letters.....
Kind of like Social Security was meant to be (IF one lived long enough to collect it)....
“Give it to me NOW and I will return it to you later” Unka Sugah!!!
Good question. My routine is that I get up, and usually do the daily Cryptoquote in the Arkansas Gazette myself,
and based on my time Ill post the days times.
Its funny, somedays, Im stumped and Ill put the time out there as 10 minutes is good etc. and theres always a few people who found the CG easy.
I would say generally speaking any time under 2 minutes is excellent, and 1 minute would be what everyone should strive for.
A man, a plan, a canal. Panama!
fast, common letter and it is clear.
That was his cousin wasn’t it? Unka Sugah I mean.
Bully!!
