TY ladies!
Just got home. Even on the way home my vision out of my left eye was so much better then it was before. I mean even with glasses! I’m a little confused about what I’m seeing trying to read but I’ll need to get some readers for that anyway. Right now I just cover the left lens.
They say it’s a simple surgery and they were right. Two hours in and out. The actual surgery was only a few minutes.
My eye only ached a little bit. Two Advils and then I was fine.
I only have two issues now. The first one is that the doctor only prescribed bromsite. It’s a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. But that’s all he prescribed. I know he injected antibiotics. So tomorrow I will ask about steroids. I just don’t want any inflammation causing CN. My whole life from now on is going to be about avoiding CN!
And the other thing is it is so hard to not bend over! When they brought me out of the hospital first thing I did was see Cooper waiting for me and I bent over to pick him up. Hubby yelled quit bending over, so that was good. But I’ve done it a couple times since. Just habit!. Lifting no heavy things is easier, I seem to remember that one

There weren’t a lot of stations we could get on the way home, but we found Ben Shapiro for a while. I don’t like listening to him! All he talked about was everything Trump did wrong and how bad the polls were. He may as well have been on their side.

After surgery they put me on like 3 days of steroids. Not enough. I asked for more steroids and he said they were very bad for me, just take enormous amounts of ibuprofen. I told him I have taken steroids for decades when I needed it, can’t do much ibuprofen due to ulcers. He didn’t care. Doctors these days.
