I'm starting to feel a little like @realDonaldTrump and FLOTUS

Anyway, I said I lived in five countries with socialized medicine, and all provide awful care.

I broke Donna's heart, so she lashed out.

Donna remind of of a great Tracey Ullman skit for decades ago.

Tracey wants to introduce her new boyfriend to her friends.

When the friends are seated, Tracey brings out...a ventriloquist's dummy.

She sticks her hand in the dummy's back and clumsily makes it talk, and she tells her friends that he's the perfect boyfriend.

Finally someone says, "But Tracey: He's made of wood."

"DON'T EVER SAY THAT!" Tracey screams.

Donna doesn't want me to shatter her ventriloquist-dummy fantasy about the holy sacrament of dsocilaized medicine.

But I will anyone, since I've lived it and she hasn't.

I was born and raised in Venezuela.

Until I moved to Texas at the age of ten in 1972, I thought injections hurt like hell.

That's because Venezuelan clinics used disposable needles over and over, until they were BLUNT and had to be RAMMED IN.

My father said Venezuelan doctors could do only two things:

Deliver babies and remove arrows.

My mother was allergic to bees, but there was no form of treatment in the entire country.

One sting, and my mother would die.

ONE Venezuelan doctor hundreds of miles away had studied in the USAnd knew about allergen-specific immunotherapy.

He needed bees to give my mother this treatment.

So my father borrowed a flameproof suit from the oil-company firefighting department and collected bees' nests allover the region.

He put them in bags and popped them in the freezer.

When the bees were frozen, my father put them in a flat Pyrex baking dish until he had thousands of them.

It took weeks of bee collecting and weeks for the doctor to make the solution on his free time.

But it was successful.

Almost every male child in the oil camp broke his arm at some point.

All the kids who went to Venezuelan doctors ended up with chicken feet, so they had to go to the US to have their arms rebroken and reset.

I broke my arm when I was nine, and we went to the states.

We had a Venezuelan doctor put on a traveling cast for the flight to Miami, and it cut off the circulation to my arm.

A professional football player had to gently crack it open slightly.

My arm was cold, blue, and numb.

Next, the Netherlands.

Tons of people over over 25 had dentures.

Full sets.

Our Dutch neighbors told us to never go to the hospital under any circumstances. Go right to the US.

Doctors made house calls off the books.

If you did things legally, you had to wait months for an appointment.

If you paid cash, they'd come to your house to treat you for strep throat or the flu.

My brother was in a bike accident and cut his foot. He had to get stitches.

The clinic was filthy.

We had to wait nine hours.

They sewed him up with nylon fishing line.

And a blunt needle. No anesthesia.

He took the stitches out himself. Left a lovely Frankenstein's monster scar.

The doctors and nurses smoked while treating you.

Next, Norway.

The absolute worst.

My sister got appendicitis and almost died.

The rooms all had four patients in each, so her bed was in the hallway.

She got no sleep for ten days.

My father had a nasal hemorrhage, so he went to the emergency room and bled for hours before they admitted him.

Tried to stop the bleeding with a balloon, and then they cauterized the vein.

He ended up with a sinus infection.

The treatment was from the Dark Ages.

Norwegians don't believe in antibiotics. Their greatest terror is antibiotic resistant bacteria, so your infection either clears up, or you die.

To drain my father's sinuses, they pounded a large-diameter hollow needle through the bone above his eye sockets using a hammer.

No anesthesia.

During the two weeks he was in the hospital, they brought him NO new robes, and they didn't change the bedding once.

We brought him new clothes and bedding daily.

In two weeks, I never once saw a doctor or nurse.

And my father's room was as dark as a dungeon.

And the hospital was filthy.

ALL DOCTORS COULD BE BRIBED.

The Norwegians have no over-the-counter drugs, including aspirin. Everything is by prescription except abortion.

There's a black market for ASPIRIN.

Finally, Japan.

Resident foreigners are not allowed health coverage, but that's okay.

I paid cash to see a doctor because my ears were stopped up from not having been cleaned in years.

He took a long bamboo toothpick and cleaned my ears manually, ramming my eardrums so many times it was like a torture in a prisoner-of-war camp.

My head hurt for days.

I started having dizzy spells, so I went to a doctor, and they told me I had to get check for a brain tumor.

This was 1987, but they used 1950s X-ray technology that required I be injected with a dye via my carotid artery.

They ran a wire up the artery to my brain.

No anesthesia.

The stuff of nightmares.

Talk about being made aware that you're as full of guts as something hanging on a hook in a slaughterhouse.

In Japan, you just had to ride everything out, because there was no real advanced treatment except for the wealthy.

Fevers, food poisoning, sties.

I had a horrendous caffeine overdose when some racist butthole made my iced coffee about fifty times stronger than it should've been.

I went to the emergency room, and after they diagnosed me...they sent me on my way.

The thing about socialized medicine is that it's INHUMANE.

Not surprising, since the entire ideology of leftism is totally inhumane.

Go live in Norway for three years, Donna.

I did not get along with my parents AT ALL...but they were almost entirely helpless in their old age.

When my brother and I caught two home invaders inside my parents' home while my father was there--he had no idea they were in the house--I almost, um, gave them a one-way ticket to hell.

I guess my brother and my father saw by my face what was about to happen.

They told the two to get in their car and GO NOW.

The home invaders were sheet white.

They saw something in my face too.

I've never been that angry in my life.

First of all, the doctors said Trump has no live virus. Secondly, I heard on the radio he wasn't planning on going to the Oval Office for several days, so he will only be in restricted areas. BREAKING: DNI Declassifies Handwritten Notes From John Brennan, 2016 CIA Referral On Clinton Campaign’s Collusion Operation

On Tuesday, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified and released to Congress handwritten notes from former CIA director John Brennan as well as a CIA investigative referral to James Comey and Peter Strzok requesting that they investigate Russian knowledge of Hillary Clinton’s anti-Trump collusion smear operation.

Top U.S. intelligence officials were so concerned heading into the 2016 election that the Russians were aware of and potentially manipulating Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s plans to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent that they personally briefed President Barack Obama on the matter, newly declassified Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) documents show. CIA officials also requested that the FBI investigate Russian knowledge of the Clinton campaign’s collusion smear operation.

Newly declassified handwritten notes from former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director John Brennan show that the U.S. intelligence community knew in 2016 that Russian intelligence was actively monitoring, and potentially injecting disinformation into, Clinton’s anti-Trump collusion narrative. The intelligence concerning Russia’s knowledge of Clinton’s campaign plans was so concerning to Brennan and other national security officials that they personally informed Obama of the matter in the Oval Office in the summer of 2016. The handwritten notes from Brennan were declassified by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe and provided to Congress on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the declassified notes, Brennan and the U.S. intelligence community knew months prior to the 2016 election that the collusion smear was the result of a campaign operation hatched by the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“We’re getting additional insight into Russian activites from [REDACTED],” Brennan’s handwritten notes state. “Cite alleged approval by Hillary Clinton–on 26 July–of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to villify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.”

The notes appear to have been prepared by Brennan to memorialize a meeting held at the White House with the president and his top national security advisers. Also included in Brennan’s notes are the responses of other participants in the briefing–including those of former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, and former DNI James Clapper, but those responses are redacted.

Netflix Indicted for ‘Lewd Exhibition’ of Children in ‘Cuties’ Film by Texas Grand Jury

A Tyler County Grand Jury has indicted Netflix for promoting the “lewd exhibition” of children.

After speaking out alongside other Texas politicians against the French Netflix film Cuties and asking the state attorney general’s office to investigate the film for violations, Texas Rep. Matt Schaefer (R-Tyler) tweeted a photo of the indictment this morning.

“Netflix, Inc… knowingly promote[d] visual material which depicts the lewd exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 years of age at the time the visual material was created, which appeals to the prurient interest in sex,” the indictment reads.

The indictment fulfills Schaefer’s prediction that legal experts would classify the film as pornographic. Schaefer had also said the film could potentially face prosecution as “distribution of harmful material” for its inevitable exposure to young boys.

“If this is legal, then literally anybody with a camera can get an underage girl, very young girl, and have her do nearly anything as long as there is the thinnest piece of fabric covering her body,” Schaefer told The Texan last month. “Ultimately, we have to realize that this film is gonna be seen by a lot of 12, 13, 14, 15, 16-year old boys. How is that not material harmful to a minor?”

The controversial release of the fictional film, which follows a twelve-year-old girl’s foray into a provocative dance group, kindled outrage and prompted several Texas Republicans to action.

Senator Bob Hall (R-Canton) swore to file a bill that would outlaw pedophilia in the state constitution, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton joined two other state attorney generals in a letter asking Netflix to remove the film, and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) asked U.S. Attorney General William Barr to investigate the company for “the filming of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.” State Rep. James White (R-Tyler) likewise wrote Paxton asking for an investigation into the film.

The regulator, which is seeking a trial by jury, alleged that from at least November 2017 through February 2018, McAfee recommended cryptocurrencies that he was paid to promote, while falsely denying “he was being paid by the issuers.”

“McAfee leveraged his fame to make more than $23.1 million in undisclosed compensation” by recommending at least seven initial coin offerings or ICOs to his Twitter followers, the SEC said.

McAfee’s recommendations were “materially false and misleading,” in that he tried to sell “virtually worthless” cryptocurrency tokens by encouraging investors to buy the securities without disclosing his own holdings, the SEC alleged.

The SEC is seeking to impose on McAfee a civil penalty as well as disgorgement of ill-gotten gains, with interest. The agency also wants to ban him permanently from serving as an officer or director of any listed company or any company that files reports to the agency.

The agency is pursuing charges against Jimmy Gale Watson, Jr., a bodyguard to McAfee, on charges he aided and abetted the sale of the digital currencies, among other allegations.

Suffolk County Attorney Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Mail and Wire Fraud
Earlier today, in federal court in Central Islip, New York, Vincent J. Trimarco, Jr., an attorney licensed to practice in the state of New York since 1997, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in connection with a scheme to defraud the beneficiary of an estate from her inheritance from a wrongful death suit. Today’s plea took place before United States District Judge Joan M. Azrack. When sentenced, Trimarco faces up to 20 years in prison, as well as forfeiture, restitution and a fine of up to $250,000 or twice the gross gain or loss as a result of his crime, whichever is greater. As a part of his plea agreement with the government, Trimarco agreed to pay more than $1 million in restitution.

Seth D. DuCharme, Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, announced the guilty plea.

“Trimarco defrauded a young girl of her inheritance violating the law as well as the trust placed in him as an attorney,” stated Acting United States Attorney Seth DuCharme. “Protecting the public from those who, for personal gain, abuse that trust and betray the oath they have sworn to uphold is a priority of this Office.” Mr. DuCharme thanked the Federal Bureau of Investigation, New York Field Office, for its investigative work on the case.
