The second-ranking Democrat in the Senate has admitted that they are powerless to stop the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, unless Republicans change their mind and side with them.
Sen. Dick Durbin, who has been on the Senate Judiciary Committee since 1997, told ABC News on Sunday morning that Barrett's confirmation was all-but guaranteed.
'We can slow it down perhaps a matter of hours, maybe days at the most,' he told George Stephanopoulos on This Week.
'But we can't stop the outcome.'

They won’t meet with her and then delay and scream about wanting to meet with her. They always run out the clock hoping for a miracle to present itself.they will use the fires, virus, anything they can to avoid DC and then try to delay the hearings. The Democrats know Americans expect hearings. The Democrats will cause delays so hearings won’t happen and then call unfair.ACB is too smart to put upfor all to see and try to attack. They’ve been getting away with crap for decades because their errand boys in the lamestream media were always able to raise enough of a ruckus to intimidate a sufficient number of RINOS into getting cold feet.
Once someone like Trump gets in there with a “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” attitude they are revealed to be powerless.
And they have no one to thank but themselves, especially Harry Reid, who did us (conservatives) a HUGE favor.
