Bad taste in decorating...and beer!
If the cans were full it is the ultimate fire protection system. If the cans are empty I hope he washed them out first. Imagine the stale beer smell on a hot day.
I’ve not tried it myself, but have heard that Budweiser is almost drinkable after you pass it through a horse.
