No...I started at Auburn prison back in September of 1980. I took a tour of Attica, not long after I started in the job...just out of curiosity. I worked with a guy at Auburn who had been a hostage at Attica. Nice guy.
I grew up over in Orchard Park. We had relatives who owned a farm in Varysburg, NY (not to far from Attica).
I remember riding the Attica scenic railroad as a kid.
My younger brother works at the Big House in Lewisburg, PA.
He is in the management of the federal prison there.
He has been there since 1989/90.
