He’s singlehandedly helped to unravel a brand that some people thought could never be taken down by politicizing the sport.
Americans do not want activism mixed in with their sports. I don’t know how much clearer they can make it to the sports community.
Just look at the abysmal NBA, MLB, and NASCAR ratings.

But I agree with you that Bubba Wallace was basically an affirmative action hire - much like Danica Patrick, who did actually win an IRL race at Motegi prior to jumping on the NASCAR gravy train.
Hey, I know little about NASCAR but Richard Petty always came across like a Christian, and a good guy to me.
I have no freaking idea what you’re talking about the “rope” and the “hoax”. If you’re going to flatly state here that Petty is a bad guy, you need to explain plainly, coherently, and concisely why.

I agree. I quit NASCAR a few months ago and sent the CEO an email telling him so.
I was a serious fan for decades. Honestly I haven’t even paid attention to who won any races this year. No idea.
