The NFL's season opener is almost here, and players from both the Texans and Chiefs are discussing possible protests to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement, including both teams staying in the locker room during the national anthem.
"#Chiefs and #Texans players have been in talks about a joint demonstration before tonight’s NFL kickoff game that makes a statement on racial injustice and shows unity, per sources," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.

I used to love the NFL. Then they had to soften the game, understandably. It was fun to watch, but exacted too much of a toll on the players.
Next it was the endless replays. The pace of the game crawls while the barrage of advertisements increased.
Now this. For this reason, I’m out.

Unfortunately too many people live their lives vicariously through their favorite team/player. I’m afraid that won’t change even with these ingrates insulting our great country and the people who love it. If a mass boycott of these sports would ever occur these overpaid athletes would truly be “woke” to reality...but I’m not optomistic.

If this is not supposedly protesting against the anthem or flag, why not just do the protest at random times during actual play?
