And, one last thing.
Q is telling us of the character of those we are electing.
We consider these the best and brightest and ask them to govern us.
Now, every politician is suspect.
I need a shower.
I have never believed that for a second. Most of them are corrupt dolts, and this is true of many of the people working in the government, too (not just elected officials).
“Now, every politician is suspect.”
An important statement to remember. Why?
1. Because politicians have powers the average citizen doesn’t have. Like the ability to have victims of harrassment or abuse paid off using Other People’s Money, and the details sealed and kept secret.
2. Because politicians are in a unique position to be able to blackmail others to cover their evil doings. They control the fate of individuals and companies based on who receives their favors and who gets their scorn.
3. Politicians have access to information others don’t. Think it’s a problem for a pol to get hold of your personal information? All it takes is a phone call, because those who refuse know they could be the next target. Knowledge is power.
Not all politicians are power-mad, but it’s the rare exception. Why else does anyone put themselves into the public wringer to get elected? “Desire to serve” you say? Well ask yourself, which came first, the oversize ego that drives them to think they should have power over others, or the desire to serve that makes it possible to have that power?
Child abuse is all about power. Politicians live for power. Res ipsa loquitor.
