On MSNBC's AM Joy show, guest host Tiffany Cross plays a clip of remarks at the RNC by Sen. Tim Scott, Herschel Walker, and Nikki Haley, then says:
"I watched the Republican convention, and seeing the slew of black speakers that they had, it really did look like a modern-day minstrel show to me."

I think we all know such a person would have been a victim of the cancel culture immediately.
Isn’t “minstrel show” the type of terminology which we aren’t supposed to say anymore??????
If a conservative TV host said this about a black liberal, he’d be fired before the show was over, and a protest would be organized in the street outside the studio as he tried to escape.

I had a beautiful conversation with a 60-year-old black customer of mine in Berkeley the other day who was around in the 70s and was talking in the 70s how the cops would come into the school and the kids we get to know them
and we both agreed that needs to come back
she said that her son who was raised in Berkeley who was taught to hate the cops is now becoming a police officer —so it’s come full circle
Now look it’s gonna be very hard for a lot of these black folks to actually vote for a Republican it’s a really multi generational mindset that’s being undone
You’ll notice that the screaming hysterical Democrats aren’t even trying to mention the Hispanic vote at all
This is because in general Hispanics are out there working have families are Catholic and are much more inclined to hear the conservative message then are blacks
For example we have a pure propaganda radio station 9:10 AM here in the bay area San Francisco that is called a “black information network “BIN

This might be a little off topic, but I recall reading somewhere that Al Jolson (because he performed in blackface and did minstrel numbers in his movies) in real life very much respected blacks and supported civil rights for them (which was not particularly fashionable in Hollywood back then). Seems that he got stigmatized as something of a racist in a rather unfair manner.
