I've never ever been polled for my political opinion nor have I ever heard of anyone saying they have. Has anyone here?

Yes, twice this year already.
Yes. Several times.
We are polled dozens if not hundreds of times each campaign season. MANY MANY MANY TIMES.
I have gotten mostly robocalls where you have to enter a number for your answers.
I have gotten only one call (in 2004) where I actually spoke with a person.
Yes, several times.
Yes. Several times. By DYNATA on landline. And yesterday via text from MonkeySurvey.
More than once
Just got polled last night. But I’m a registered independent. Was my first time. My son, also an independent, got polled two weeks ago.
All about candidate selections and job performance. No issues. Bunch was out of San Francisco, polling races in Arizona and the presidential selection.
I was polled about oil drilling and environmental issues. It started out basic, non sleazy. Within a few questions, the questions were worded and twisted so that I would have to answer the way they wanted me to answer to promote their environmental wacko views.
Twice this year here in Michigan.
#37. Thanks for some new ideas. My ‘black’ accent probably doesn’t fool ‘em. When time permits, I do my best to screw with their stats - while silently screaming ‘get off my lawn’. It’s sorta like doing something for the cause, while never leaving home. Polls are for strippers.
Polls are made up by the democrat party.
Glad to see a fellow Alabamian who is going to go for Tommy.
Not I, nor my family, nor my friends
I never got polled until I moved downtown. Now I get polled quiet often.
Ah, yes, no way I’m voting for Abortion Jones.
the poll that ticked me off the most was the poll they took under Bush during the Iraq war. I got polled as usual, but here is the deal... they asked.. do you support the Iraq war? now.. this made me SO mad! I didn’t support HOW the Iraq war was being fought with both hands tied behind our backs and wished we had just leveled a few cities from 30,000 feet. But that wasn’t an option. I could only say I support, or don’t support. Had to say I don’t support :( made me sad. Of course the media played up the results saying that the American people had turned against the war!
grrrrrrrrrr
I’ve had calls from pollsters 50+ times over the years, but zero times in 2020. Possibly this is because I have a mobile phone and no landline.
Sometimes, I’ll answer questions if the caller reveals the purpose and an acceptable name for who ultimately commissioned the poll. Getting that out of them requires an inquisition, which can be entertaining if you are in the right mood. Hmm - that might account for the drop in calls. What a shame.
Hubby and I have been polled before, and usually for local races. A few times for national.
every election season, at minimum two calls. we still have a landline.
2016 I must have gotten 10 calls from pollsters - some were very short and at least one took almost a half hour. whoever designs these polls figures you’ll hang up before they get to the end. stupid questions, sometimes about the ads on tv: will that ad make you more likely, less likely, not at all likely, definitely not.....
so far this year I’ve had only ONE! I’m looking forward to it!
