Colin Kaepernick’s NFL career is officially over. For months, there has been quiet speculation regarding whether or not he will finally get a chance to return to the league that seemingly washed its hands of him four years ago.
Now we have our answer: no.
This week Mike Florio confirmed that despite NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell essentially coming out and wrapping his arms around Kaepernick, and irrespective of the very public endorsements the 32-year-old received from head coaches Anthony Lynn and Pete Carroll, nobody actually wants to sign him.

It was over four years ago.
I thought of him this a.m, generally people are all watching some football game, and everyone is with family. This is good. Poor guy, he messed it all up...for his friends. Not missing much the season...of NFL.

I can’t believe it’s come to this. No more Colon Crapyerneck in the NFL. I’m having a hard time digesting this. I’m pouring myself a strong drink as we post. Trying to to stiffen myself up so I won’t cry as hard over this as I might otherwise. This is devastating. I shake my fist in the air and ask why. Why, in my lifetime, does this have to happen? I’m not feeling well. I’m going to lay down until this depression passes me. We live in the worst of times.
