In line with your post from Bards of War, I posted a link upthread about the Ft. Worth city council proclaiming August 19 a day of prayer. I heard about this on a TV news segment but haven’t located the video.
To the best of my recollection this began with a Christian guy being convicted to just attend city council and county commissioner meetings and pray silently. The result has been that both the city and county proclaimed these days of prayer. They were also proclaimed in Dallas and Rockwall, a smaller city and county east of Dallas.
This has prompted hubby and I to decide we need to also begin attending our county commissioner’s meetings, simply to pray silently. (Unless God directs speaking)
