No the glasses are NOT better-but the stupid driver’s license office requires it. When I really want to see, I just perch them on the bottom of my nose. Ha.
We still have a land line. The cell phone is just for emergencies on the road. When I was doing a lot of volunteer work, I needed it for more stuff and also when I was staying with my Dad in the hospital-but none of that applies now, so I need to downsize.

I had a “Virgin Moble” phone at one point. The phone was called “The Party Animal.” :) $25 minimum every 90 days, pay for anything over that. (A Clark Howard recommendation.) I had it for emergencies, almost never had to pay more than the minimum. Haven’t used it for years and not certain if its still even supported!
I don’t want a cell phone. Too much like a tracking collar. (My car has one. I can almost understand when someone calls.)
