I sure don’t know about how felony arrests work, but the cop seemed to be in the dark as well. He gets a phone call and asks if this is a grand jury indictment or “green sheets”, anyone know what that means? Someone in the background says “burglary” but not sure who.
From what I’ve read about sealed indictments suggests that what happened to her may be typical when a sealed indictument is served: you’re just arrested and jailed without being informed of the charges until a hearing is held:
“The magistrate judge to whom an indictment is returned may direct that the indictment be kept secret until the defendant is in custody or has been released pending trial. The clerk must then seal the indictment, and no person may disclose the indictments existence except as necessary to issue or execute a warrant or summons.”
Which sounds pretty unAmerican.
Ironic that Millie was wearing a “Free Loomer” t-shirt at the time.
No way in hell this Clinesmith kid did any of this without approval from above... prosecutors in @GenFlynn case knew about this too #LockThemAllUp https://t.co/a5lpeeoPxm— Joseph J Flynn (@JosephJFlynn1) August 15, 2020

Nobody knows what’s going on with this incident so I’m going to ignore it until it either clears up or goes away.
Well Ohio was known to pull over out of staters in speed traps. Requiring a visit to the local justice who then demanded fine paid in cash at that time.
My folks got caught up in it back in the 60s
Green sheets are the copy of the complaint given to a defendant. Green sheets are the very beginning of the arrest cycle. Indictment means it has already been presented to a Grand Jury.
Not sure wht this has to do with sealed Indictments. Someone filed charges for ?. Charge was processed but not served on the suspect. When they were physically located the charges were issued and they were taken into custody. They would be given the “green sheets: if they are available. Rights do not have to be read unless the subject is being formally questioned.
Look at #127.
