Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin offered Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., some advice about running as a vice presidential nominee -- as the California Democrat becomes only the third woman ever to do so.
“Congrats to the democrat VP pick,” Palin said in a post to Harris Tuesday. “Climb upon Geraldine Ferraro’s and my shoulders, and from the most amazing view in your life consider lessons we learned.”

A couple references to John McCain and his handlers. Sarah brought energy to McCain’s campaign. She drew crowds more like Obama’s crowds, than like McCain’s. Soon after she was named, McCain drew even. Then, after the loss, McCain’s people tried to blame her. That was the first time I saw how thin-skinned McCain was.
FReeper perceptions and inferences run the gamut, don’t they? Sometimes funny, many times frustrating. Sad that sarcasm, parody and irony are lost on so many FReepers these days, that /sarc, /par and /irony tags are needed.

None of us can control the bad choices that our adult children make.
Biggest problem I see is that many of hers were too selfish to realize that their actions were going to have a huge impact on their mother who was operating in a bright public spotlight.
Heels up Harris doesn’t give a rat’s ass about other women unless it’ll get her votes.
My take: Palin is telling Harris “Get ready for nasty, on steroids.”

I was under the impression she was trying to get her own family life settled rather than over indulge in more politics. I think she has her priorities right.
