I thought Christie did well in the GOP debates that Trump ended up winning. I was never going to support him, but he came off well in the debates, as opposed to those who didn’t (See John Kasich).

Trump has previously said that Christie was “harder to debate” than Hillary Clinton, when Christie previously helped him to practice for debates in the 2016 presidential race, the New York Post reports.

In my mind Trump's greatest debate moments were:

• When Megyn Kelley jumped him with a bunch of mean things he tweeted about women and Trump responded 'Only Rosey O'Donnell, getting a big laugh'
• When Hillary Clinton made a disparaging remark about how ashamed the Party of Lincoln should be to have Trump and Trump mused 'Abraham Lincoln. Honest Abe, never told a lie. That's the difference between him and YOU!'
• After the dems sandbagged him with Access Hollywood tape, bringing in all of the women Clinton assaulted and seating them in the front row.

All brilliantly flipping the script. And I would bet that Chris Christie had nothing to do with any of them. Can't hurt to have someone challenge him but Trump is brilliant at the snappy comeback when someone sinks their fangs into him.

I really think the point of this article is to lay down a marker that Trump intends to debate and that the media talk about there not being a need for debates is hogwash. Trump is going to debate Biden. Biden will not be allowed to weasel out of the debates, regardless of the harping Biden supporters in the corrupt MSM.
