My wife and daughters alma mater. Very disappointing. Many players want to sit out the season out of fear they will start and then the administrators will shut down the season.
Will the “student/athletes” be forced to attend classes? (even online??)
JMU/UVA/VaTech are all 3 hugely popular in VA. Fun to watch. My wife and I were devastated when March madness pulled the plug as we’re big UVA b-ball fans. The schools politics aside. Watching Tony Bennett coach that team was a great way to spend an evening.
All because the media says HYdroxychloroquin is bad
They had a football team????
Who knew?

The country would probably be better off if all universities just shut down until the Covid-19 pandemic is over and then add another 10 years to the shut down just to be safe.
Guess I’d better revise my projected national-championship game picks...
Ridiculous. No football player has yet died or had their health seriously compromised. Only the fear of what might happen. And this is a sport in which every player risks permanent brain injuries without a second thought.
There hasn’t been 1-AA since 2005.
