Having spent years on the school board I know first hand the evil the teacher’s Unions spread. Dealing with them during a strike that didn’t need to happen showed me what selfish and malicious intent they have. They could care less about the children. There are good teachers to be sure, but the Union and their leaders and many many teachers are only in it for their own self interest $$ and agendas
I agree. We all handle challenges differently. Claudia could have embraced the challenge & supported & helped out her family. Of course I have no idea what is/was going on in their house.
I fully expected Kellyanne to be one of the first to leave the admin after re-election, She has been working very hard, & to get Trump elected twice, she deserves a break. Only the timing surprises me. But she admirably put her family first.

Actually, my oldest daughter and her friends decided it would be a good idea to go to New Mexico and be homeless. I got wind of their plans and told other mothers and we stopped them at the bus station. The second time they got away with it.
I did just what you said, took everything she owned except her bed and stored it. After she discovered being homeless wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, she came home.
Many times, after she got older and wiser, she told me that my taking away all her stuff really taught her a lesson and thanked me for it.

My exact thoughts. Time to institutionalize with a really good (sexual abuse) counselor Am thinking of so many children who act out screaming for help. They are asking for parents to investigate without them actually verbalizing the issues. Am suspecting sexual abuse. Iirc it’s the number one cause of acting out behavior.
