The man cannoot control his emotions and behavior in public on issues of national importance.
That shows his mindset as to what type of behavior is acceptable so it would be a surprise if he acted any different at home.

Easy to overlook this, but it is absolutely remarkable to watch @SteveScalise stride effortlessly across the stage, knowing the destruction to his hip that bullet caused. A lot of us have watched his recovery up close - starting with a wheelchair and a walker. Truly a miracle.
