Well you gotta start somewhere. I agree with too many of the other people getting away with crimes & with the fixer should be getting punished too. But these people deserve what they get & it sets an example.
We can’t just keep letting everybody off because “what about the other guy?” Pretty soon we’re in the mess we are in now. We can’t keep letting people cheat & break rules.
2 months isn’t that long & the will probably actually only serve a fraction of that time.
