On Monday night, as President Donald Trump began posting about the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 following a viral video of a doctor touting its ability to not only treat but prevent the disease, Twitter removed at least three of the presidents tweets, leaving no trace of what the president wrote on the social media platform.
Tensions between the big tech website and President Trump appear to have reached a new height, as the platform has now censored several posts by President Trump that appear to have promoted the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
The president began sharing articles and tweets promoting the use of hydroxychloroquine after a viral video of frontline doctors revealing their experiences treating COVID-19 in the field.
In place of President Trumps tweets is a message from the platform that reads This tweet is no longer available.

They have to remove Biden’s too, then
“I tried to sign up and left as soon as they wouldn’t let me continue without providing a phone number.”
That’s because most Twitter accounts are bots
No it doesn’t. Don’t just spout out crap due to ignorance.
Man you guys are good
>Lucky, this one, which promotes the use of HCQ is still up.

Nope, it’s now “removed for violating community guidelines.”
Did you actually go and check yourself right now or are you just assuming it doesn’t because other people said so or you could sign up without one back in the past?
While that may be true(or another made-up statistic), it is categorical error to assume that volume somehow equals influence, when around 80% of the population have social media accounts.
While you can scream with Mr. Universe that "You can't stop the signal," social media is a primary source of information for most people, and none of them are going on the dark web.
Twitter is a minor platform, but President has used it masterfully to get his views to the people without filters. This private policing of the Internet is more insidious than the government. While you may be adept at ferreting out whatever you may need, assuming such a competence by the masses displays a marked misunderstanding of human nature.
Why are so many people so desperate for acceptance that they’re denying that Parler is collecting PI when you can just go on to their account creation page and see for yourself? If a person or organization does something bad like if it looks like a honeypot to trick conservatives you should call it out. It doesn’t matter if they claim to be conservative or working for conservatives. Stuff like this isn’t new. There was an app called Candid that was marketed to conservative youtubers that ended up being a scam to train anti ‘hate speech’ algorithms. There are so many good projects and people out there. No need to hitch your wagons to bad shady ones.
Thank you for the links.
Twitters sales were already down over 20% last quarter. And profits have collapsed. They are not in a very strong financial situation.
If Trump takes away millions his followers to Parler, it will definitely hurt Twitter.

For sure. As Twitter censors any viewpoint other than the SJWs, it will quickly collapse in on itself and eventually wink out off existence.
“The issue is using the social media to carry out a personal vendetta against Fauci and his like-minded pals...”
In other words, you regard anyone trying to alert the public to life-saving drugs and ending the pandemic to be a personal vendetta against Fauci. Really, now.
You are about as screwed up as Twitter when it come to Trump hatred.
“A website is private property...”
They are provided immunity by the government, so not really anymore.
The design choices are just mindboggling. It not only isolates your messages so that nobody on the outside can see it it also harvests your PI. Its like a containment app ANTIFA would design for conservatives.
I have about as much confidence in attack dog Barr as I do in conservative Lindsey Graham,
How?
There may come a time where we here at FreeRepublic will be reading a last post...and then fade to black screen.
Im no internet genius, dont know the ins and outs of the web and websites to turn to when the SHTF. Realizing how important it is for our side to be able to communicate effectively, does anyone have a plan?
I know to some that may sound awfully premature, but the speed at which things are happening...well, we dont want to be caught by surprise.
Get over it.
I cannot access Twitter WITH an account.
(They didn't like that I said I would pay for the rope if Schiff were convicted of treason.)
