More than 4,000 protesters gathered in Portland on the 60th night of civil unrest in the city. The weeklong truce between the Portland Police and the protesters (made up of Antifa, Black Bloc, BLM Inc, and average citizens) came to a violent end. The Portland Police had been largely absent from the protests for the last week while the protesters focused almost all of their attention on the federal buildings and the employees inside. Defense of the personnel and property in the buildings rested exclusively on the shoulders of federal law enforcement officers located inside. The high ground (the parks and streets) were controlled by the protesters and without any opposition from the Portland Police, the federal officers were sitting ducks. As a result, over the course of the week, more than a dozen federal officers suffered injuries including concussions and burns from mortars and Molotov cocktails, and at least two were permanently blinded by laser weapons employed by the protesters. Now that the Portland Police are back in the game I’ve decided to call this episode of Portlandia Nights ‘They Are Back!’
Perhaps most exciting is the fact that the Portland Police resumed their live-tweeting and live-streaming. Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell tweeted a video of himself calling for peace and warning protesters that the Portland Police were back.

I've been repeatedly saying Snipers are the way out. Not sure I agree with the caliber or below the knee. If the snipers are regulated to .22 only, I say groin area. Forget the leg unless it hits the femoral artery. Take out their junk. 4 or 5 of those good shoots would put an end to this nonsense immediately. And don't spare the loud-mouthed ugly white women. They have lost their privilege of chivalry.

I can't believe that some industrious, and mischievous, patriots haven't made said buses inoperable while they wait to pick up their customers, after a nights riots activities. Make is financially painful enough for the bus owners, and pretty soon they will tell the peaceful rioters to find someone else to haul them arond.
The restraint of those cops is amazing. This won’t end until the cities turn them loose to do their jobs with nightsticks, tasers, and pistols...AND the courts stop the revolving g door.
