re: drowning of 400 million

Throw into mix the report a few days back how the Chinese had invited in American Engineers and experts on the plan for the dam and the super-sized lake it would create. The comments by the Americans were that the lake size would be enough to change future weather patterns. Perhaps true?

Hmm. Watch the water?

Could it be the Trump is going to have the U.S. help China forestall the catastrophe of the dam collapse by intentionally flooding an area upstream?

Weather pattern changes created by making a great lake are a small price top pay considering the alternative.

What is China going to have to provide Trump in return for the help?

The diversion of a river and the quick development of huge lake would be quite a sight to watch.

re: Hmmm ‘watch the water

Might be a misunderstanding — those American engineers I mentioned were invited in long tine ago when the dam was being built. Nothing current I’m sorry if I misled.

Based on descriptions of China flooding I've seen, the only diversion would do anything positive would be to beam a bunch (a billion or two) acre-feet out of China sometime last month.

Near as I know, the Starship Enterprise is nowhere around. /dark humor

Seriously, compared to the damage that's already occurred to China's agricultural land and food supplies due to flooding, the 3 Gorges dam total failure would only be an exclamation mark. Those people are looking right down the barrel of a famine and maybe drowning would be a better option.

Well, the Chinese would not need Trump to blow upstream levees for them. They’re already doing that themselves.
