a) not the CEO
b) can't bribe or bully his way out of
His body language is that of someone trying to intimidate people by saying "You won't be one of the cool kids anymore."

I also noted a lot of stuttering and voices cracking as if they were going through puberty again. Gulp/hard swallow. Aaaah, um.

Gates squirms like a kid called to the principal’s office. Excessive hand-waving.
