Planned Parenthood of Greater New York will remove the name of Margaret Sanger, a founder of the national organization, from its Manhattan health clinic because of her “harmful connections to the eugenics movement,” the group said on Tuesday.

Truth be told, aborting pregnancies was nor anything that Sanger promoted or advised, publicly or privately. That said, hers was s terribly baleful influence. Planned Parenthood has apparently milked every ounce of net advantage it could get by pointing to her involvement in its founding and early growth as an organization, or they would certainly not be throwing her under the bus at this late date.
