As we discussed last month, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has released a bill which, if passed, would direct the Pentagon to get their act together on the UFOs our military has been chasing around in our airspace and issue a report on whats going on and make it available to the public. The acting head of that committee is Florida Senator Marco Rubio, so hes been receiving a lot of predictable media attention on this subject. From everything Ive seen, Rubio has been taking the question in an admirably serious fashion and not ducking away from opportunities to comment.
*snip*
Rubio keeps a serious tone, discussing the possibility of a threat to national security as represented by these strange craft. But he then goes on to offer a rather startling opinion as to their origin. While not directly invoking the word aliens, he says that if its something outside this planet, that might be better than finding out that the Chinese or the Russians have gotten a huge leap on us in the technology race. (Washington Examiner)
Look, heres the interesting thing for me about all this and the reason why I think its an important topic, OK? We have things flying over our military bases and places where were conducting military exercises, and we dont know what it is, and it isnt ours. So, thats a legitimate question to ask, Rubio said in a Thursday interview with Jim DeFede of CBS4 News in Miami. I would say that, frankly, that if its something outside this planet, that might actually be better than the fact that weve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this sort of activity.

Come to think of it the human race seems to have been making the same mistakes over and over again for tens of thousands of years. It seems we evolve mentally only in developing the killing power of our weapons.
” Computer glitches occur all the time, they’re nothing unique or very special at all.”
If thats all their was then you would have a point. There was a corresponding naked eye. Did the eye have a glitch too?
Who said they were space aliens? I didnt.
“but I prefer to apply logic and rationality. “
Same here. If two separate observing devices, one technical, one biological detect the same odd object, then I would logically conclude they saw something tangible. What it was is anybodies guess.
Hey cbgb
When I was in junior high my science teacher was in to UFO’s.
I became interested as well.
My favorite writer in the subject became John Keel.
Our Haunted Planet.
Operation Trojan Horse
Strange Creatures From Beyond Time and Space
Then Mothman Prophecies came out and, lastly, The Eighth Tower.
I ate them up.
Now I like to look at
I have fond memories of Keel.

Even if someone claimed such, it’s meaningless. People frequently and unknowingly make honest mistakes, it’s even common when they are true believers not looking at the most likely, reasonable explanation for things they encounter in life. It’s amazingly common. We fool ourselves as often as we fool others, it’s easy to talk ourselves into believeing something that’s not so. And if you enjoy regaling others with Big Fish That Got Away tall stories, UFO tales are the motherlode.

As kids we use to make small hot air balloons out of common things around the house. Was a sure way to get neighbors excited about a “UFO” and even one time attracted the interest of what seemed to be an interceptor plane.
But, all in all, when you consider they only land out in the sticks, pick up a few goobers for a ride and get a yearly physical though nobody has any real evidence (not even a selfie with the creatures or their craft), I submit the correct reaction is to say “Go on and pull the other leg”.
Considering all the time now when people have been carrying cameras wherever they go and yet no one has ever been able to produce even just one photo of either an alien craft or it’s drivers - well, even the most diehard of true believers should be willing to dump the fantasy.
In fact, when you get to the bottom of it - the fact that no one would have ever thought “I gotta get a pic of this!’ should set off warning bells in and of itself.
If we had a “like” button I would have used on your excellent post.
Highly unlikely another country has something so far advanced and sends it to play around our bases, we see them but have no idea where they’re from.
Seems unlikely it’s ours and gets chased by our own planes
Then again a somewhat nutty friend says an ex CIA guy told him they definitely are ours.
Exactly. Could be some natural phenomena we do not yet understand.
Perhaps some weird way our radars are bouncing and interfering with each other in our circuitry.
It is obvious we never get a clear picture of this phenomena.
The idea this is a superior technology is no more supported than the idea it is demonic images.
Anything ranging from to our hardware, to foreign hardware, to extraterrestrials, to time-travellers, all the way out even to demons.
Well bro, there are visual records of these things too. So it’s certainly not restricted to electronics or interference.
The possibilities are very broad-ranging.
Yeah, well I as I said, I try to go with the most plausible explanation for events rather than the most “out there” ones.
If a reasonable and rational explanation exists for something, it’s the most likely one. If you have to bring in paranormal and/or extraterrestrial explanations - especially as the go-to starting point - I think that’s a bit of a reach.
After you eliminated and exhausted all the possibilities, then you can start to dip into the impossibilities is a hunt for explanations. But technical issues just are much, much more likely for any given occurrence happening than are beings from another planet.
We sense three variables of space and one of time. Add one more variable to the spatial component and real physical 'thjngs' take on interesting properties ... like appearing in a six sided room without coming through an opened door or window (Christ's appearances int he Upper Room, etc.).
As to dimension time, events happen in a present moment but are sensed by us from the past and our brain does a processing feat which we image as present.
A wonderful Freeper gave to me a great way to abbreviate this: without time, events do not occur; without space a thing does not exist IN the Unioverse God has created.
The UAPs are real and physical when in our 4D limits well, but may in fact be able to exercise a fourth variable of dimension space and exit our sensory functions, then re-enter our 4D limits.
When God raptures the Body of Christ, the members of that body will instantly disappear as extra dimensionality is given the new body and behavior mechanism into which our alive-forever-more spirit is located then. That newly made/created body is caught up into the clouds to meet the Lord in The Air, while completely invisible to the folks not caught up, not transformed in the twinkling of an eye.
Meant to ping you
I still say the guy I know is seeing afterburners turn off and on.
He says that they come from Orion. He seemed somewhat crestfallen when I explained that that was a direction, and not a place.
Jo Rogan did a podcast with Bob lazar. It’s on you tube and can be found easily.
We do have craft from wherever they are from. We are attempting to reverse engineer them.
The other day Joe had on 2 guys who know Bob very well. One is a film maker , the other a reporter. After 31 years Bobs story has remained consistent and he has yet to make a dime from any of this.
More than likely he is telling the truth. No idea if these craft are from a different dimension or a different star system.
