As we discussed last month, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has released a bill which, if passed, would direct the Pentagon to get their act together on the UFOs our military has been chasing around in our airspace and issue a report on whats going on and make it available to the public. The acting head of that committee is Florida Senator Marco Rubio, so hes been receiving a lot of predictable media attention on this subject. From everything Ive seen, Rubio has been taking the question in an admirably serious fashion and not ducking away from opportunities to comment.
*snip*
Rubio keeps a serious tone, discussing the possibility of a threat to national security as represented by these strange craft. But he then goes on to offer a rather startling opinion as to their origin. While not directly invoking the word aliens, he says that if its something outside this planet, that might be better than finding out that the Chinese or the Russians have gotten a huge leap on us in the technology race. (Washington Examiner)
Look, heres the interesting thing for me about all this and the reason why I think its an important topic, OK? We have things flying over our military bases and places where were conducting military exercises, and we dont know what it is, and it isnt ours. So, thats a legitimate question to ask, Rubio said in a Thursday interview with Jim DeFede of CBS4 News in Miami. I would say that, frankly, that if its something outside this planet, that might actually be better than the fact that weve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this sort of activity.

Just because he doesnt know they are ours doesnt mean that they arent.
“UFOs our military has been chasing around in our airspace”

Not in “airspace” - just some blips & bleeps on radar.
Are you thinking of the Dr. Who episode “Alien’s of London” with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor?
There is a lack of intelligence on any committee Rubio is heading up.
Not true. Tons of visual reports filed.
Its not the intelligent life elsewhere I am worried about. Its the unintelligent life HERE I am worried about
Especially in our Congress.
“....Are you thinking of the Dr. Who episode Aliens of London with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor?...”
Naaa....I was thinking of the godless, vile, demonic Botoxian that’s speaker of the house. And that BeetleJuice demon that runs Shitago...and there’s that mayor of DC along with a host of others. Maybe they’re aliens from outer space...pod people.
Lol
Not easy to get a weapon that is much more advanced than anything around kept a secret.
Like with the atom bomb.
Chinese are probably the hardest to spy on but there are usually ways.
And we can’t discount that it is some kind of weapon of ours
Or simply aliens watching us like and we watch animals in the wild
Sure, an advanced civilization is sure not to vote for Democrats.
The “out there” hypothesis is not persuasive to me, and I have followed this stuff for decades.
Given the quantity of sightings of all kinds (and I think many are legit), I am convinced they have lived here and continue to live here.
Homo sapiens is very uncomfortable dealing with the possibility that we are not the top of the food chain.
Unless they are just plain evil.;-)

And seen by FLIR video and by Navy pilots visual as objects passed within meters of their cockpits
Agreed. I only hear about these UFO’s when they appear over US military bases or show up at US naval exercises. Do they show up elsewhere with anywhere the regularity? Does Russia have this “problem”?
I assume we have black (sorry, small “b”) projects that are not known to Congress.
They’re not space aliens. They’re time machines from the future carrying tourists who want to see for themselves how primitive and stupid their ancestors were.
You either believe Einstein and his theories of relativity or you believe that UFOs are mechanical and biological entities that have travelled hundreds of light years to cruise around earth but never make actual contact. You can’t beleive both.
Put another way. Find the Chairman of the Department of Physics from a major university willing to testify under oath before Senator Rubio’s committee that in his or her opinion these UFOs can really be such a biological and physical entity. Doubt you would find one. If such a person were to publicly give such testimony , he would be laughed off campus.
