If you're sick of being let down a solid pick would be Sen. Mike Lee (IMO).
He is conservative and he means it.
I'm not sure if people want someone else from the current federal bench.
They will just let you down conveniently making up the numbers to side with the liberals when required.

Lee has zero experience as a judge. I would need someone with a history of jurisprudence I can eyeball and get a feel for them. Beyond that, his inexperience would tag him as a purely political appointee. The days when that was acceptable are over.

Ted Cruz or Levin or Judge Janine or Larry Elder somebody we KNOW will follow the constitution!! Can they be on the SCOTUS if they just have a law degree or do they have to be serving on the courts at this time???

EXACTLY! That’s when Cruz went into my waste basket. I had liked him. I didn’t “support” him because I KNEW he wasn’t eligible.
I said at the time, because he was touted here as a constitutional scholar, that he KNEW he was ineligible to the office and because he was an honest man and a constitutionalist that he would eventually drop out.
He didn’t! So much for “constitutional scholar”, “honest man”, “constitutionalist”.
So that’s when I dumped Ted and said so on here. That and that George W Bush was a backstabber, got me Zotted for I think 2 years.

Thanks. I find it both disheartening and astounding how many so-called conservatives here seem to have no idea what a natural born Citizen is versus a mere statutory born citizen and why the Founders required that presidents be the former rather than the latter.
