'We Ain’t Shopping at Starbucks No More': Seattle Protesters Call for Boycott

I like Folgers. Been drinking it for years. Their “Breakfast Blend’’ is nice. Very mellow. I don't like a bitter cup of Java roasting my taste buds. I use a percolator too. Don't like a drip method.

Last time I checked, business means voluntary transactions. I would shop Starbucks if I liked coffee, their coffee was good, and the price, was reasonable. Alas, “ain’t” is the operative word in each case.

I had a Corning percolator that my late uncle gave my parents as a wedding gift almost 60 years ago. I have no idea what happened to it. It made the greatest coffee in the world. I still have a blue speckleware camp stove percolator hanging on a hook in my breakfast nook, by the wood stove hearth. It makes a mean cuppa Joe, too.

I’ll wager there is a product you use in the course of your daily life that does the same thing that buying a cup of Starbucks does. Ditto some of the other self-righteous types condemning folks who buy a drink from Starbucks.

I encourage you to carefully examine everything you purchase and stop buying anything that isn’t 100% pure ideologically.
