I had an upper GI endoscopy Friday morning. I was due for my five year colonoscopy as well, and they said they could do both at once, since I was going to be under and already trussed up like a lab rat. I said, "No. NO. NO NO NO NO, absolutely NOT. After the last one, one end at a time will be sufficient. I'll get back to you on the other one." I wasn't about to sit on the can drinking that orange antifreeze all evening again. LMAO

I did both yesterday, it was VERY easy.

The prep wasn’t that much fun, but it was LOT easier than it was the last time I did it. I had to drink two small bottles of “stuff”, followed by 5 8oz glasses of water or tea. Then nature does the rest. :-)

The actual procedure was a breeze. I went to sleep, and woke up 45 minutes later. I was in and out of the hospital in 2 hours total.
