I don't know if Chicago's radical Mayor Light-in-the-Loafers eats snakes or lizards or not, but there is strong facial evidence that her stone-d age ancestors did.
She has the face of an iguana.

Good God! And to think somebody probably got paid real money for this “revelation”. OF COURSE THEY ATE SNAKES AND LIZARDS! They ate any damn thing they could find.

IMO archaeology is one of those fields that produces essentially zero useful information. It exists mainly to satisfy the investigators idle curiosity. Amazing that they get funding from anyone.

When you’re hungry, you eat anything that’s slightly slower and/or dumber Than you.
Which explains vegetarians.

Why is this news. I have eaten snakes and alligators and was born in 1948. It really does taste like chicken. Alligator needs much more time in the oven to be tender. It does taste good if properly prepared.

I wonder when butter was first being made.
I’ve eaten rattlesnake while stationed in Oklahoma - attended one of the rattlesnake roundups and it was on the menu...it actually does taste like chicken - just a little bit stringier.
