The governing body of Oxford University's Oriel College says it wants to remove the controversial statue of Cecil Rhodes. Board members met today to discuss the future of the monument, which is one of dozens of targets appearing on a list of statues Black Lives Matter protesters want to see taken down for links to racism and colonialism. That’s not fair to Chamberlain. England was in no position to fight when Chamberlain went to Munich, he made sure afterwards they would be. It was France’s lack of action that put Chamberlain in that position in the first place. France could have stopped the Germans in The Rhineland, but chose not to do so.
