The church where I worship teaches that we may not know how suffering is part of His plan, but that we can know none of our suffering is ever wasted. The brokenness we introduced to the world through our free will was not His will, but He does have a plan to turn ALL suffering and hardship to our good. Who would have thought the Cross could be turned to good? And yet what seemed God's greatest defeat was in fact the method by which the world was redeemed from Satan and sins forgiven.
