Its just the flu, bro.
About 400 dead in each of the past two days, which is down from a peak of 2600 about two months ago. Why is opening things up still an issue? Austin Texas is apparently extending its lockdown until 15 August because of some sort of outbreak. They say that 14 new cases in a city over a million is a big deal. The virtue signaling by politicians by extending the lockdown is ridiculous. The media, including Drudge, hyped up any new case/outbreak of it.
And I am sick of fake kids sports - now they let them practice as long as they dont go near each other. This is especially dumb for contact sports.
And the liability waivers are for everything now. A guy sued a girl because she gave him a cold sore on the first date. You can imagine that the frivolous lawsuits related to healthy people getting a mild case of Corona will be coming.
Another good post, Dr.
You’re beating the drums of FREEDOM, and I, for one, appreciate that!
No time to read this right now (between night shifts) but it might be some good info concerning treatments for various corona viruses (virii?)...

Sweaty 20+ year olds...? Sign me up...!
Speaking of sweaty 20+, I just got home from the gym. One hottie walked in, but it was at the end of my workout and I couldn’t loiter because I needs to work tonight. Still not seeing masks there - saw one on two occasions, but for the most part, people just aren’t wearing them at the gym.
Maybe the hair cutting places can take a hint. I’m getting downright shaggy.
In my lurking through every issue of this thread I have seen some very well thought out responses as well as some utterly unbelievable outbursts from the start of this pandemic, through what we now have been subjected to for 90 days or so, of politics vs data and science. Risk versus benefit combined with common sense can be the safest avenues any of use to evaluate our own attitudes and course of action. Concerning what and how we react in most situations will let each of us decide our reactions. Being over 80 years of age, my actions will differ from many others. I am careful and cautious but not radical in any case. I have yet to wear a mask but have one on hand, just in case. In my opinion, its just the flu, bro.
Well done gas_Dr. (The Dr title is out of respect!)
