Count the Des Moines Roosevelt baseball team among those who want to continue the ongoing national discussion of racial injustice spurred by George Floyds death.
All the Roosevelt baseball players kneeled during the national anthem on Monday afternoon ahead of the season-opening game against Ankeny Centennial at Principal Park in Des Moines.

at this point there is no way you cant kneel.
the mob will cancel you, threaten you and your family, your business.
they are drunk with power
November can’t come soon enough
I hope many, many people stood during the Anthem and then walked out as soon as it was finished.
Media making news again.
Recent products of our school Er indoctrination centers. Any white dope who subscribes to this BLM crap needs be introduced to BLM in Zimbawe for a glimpse into the future he is buying into.
It's the left's shibboleth... and they intend it for the same reasons as the original time it was used.
I hope many, many people stood during the Anthem and then walked out as soon as it was finished.
This is where this stupid revolution started, Roger Goodall, and where it must end
People who dont walk out are complicit.
MAY YOU BE BLESSED WITH EMPTY STANDS
What did Ankeny Centennial do?
Only parents are allowed to go to games with the Covid rules. I’m sure there will be glowing articles about how brave the players were.
What if the unthinkable happens?
Actually, this is ok. The original kneelers were attention seekers. Once everyone is kneeling, it loses all meaning. In fact, eventually kneeling will be the way to show respect to the flag, and the protesting athletes will the stand to show solidarity. Kind of similar to how #blacklivesmatter is now standard ad-speak, no different than “your mileage may vary”.
Idiots, don’t know what the hell they are doing, monkey see monkey do. Morons
Ive reached the point where I really dont give a rats ass what these asses do. As a former athlete I refuse to care, or watch, these ingrates disrespect and ungratefulness for our flag, and the sacrifices made, my the millions of men and women who perished in defense of our freedoms. Im really tired of, and disgusted, by what is happening in our great nation today.
No, the point of the kneeling is that the announcer usually says: "Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for our national anthem". Staying seated or kneeling is an "in your face" refusal to stand and show respect. It is the equivalent of the middle finger to the flag, the country and all those who are standing.
“...the ongoing national discussion of racial injustice spurred by George Floyds death.”
The big lie. His death has nothing on tape or picture that says it’s racial. And the knee didn’t kill him, his asthma and the drugs did. The cop didn’t recognize the health emergency, but that doesn’t make it murder. I’ve seen a death from an asthma attack at Fort Lewis, Washington when a kid fell at a basketball game and no one knew what was happening. By the time I got there, he was going through death gasps and I couldn’t get any of my medication into him as his lungs were frozen with CO2. Ambulance made the call on the way to the hospital. My brother died from an asthma attack and no one knowing what to do. It happens. I’ve had over a couple of dozen of events myself and people don’t know how to react.
The actual death of Floyd may have been preventable, but we don’t know how far he was into the event before a problem was indicated. You’d have to have been there and know what to look for. This can be a rapid assent into death, possibly minutes. Seen it and been close to it myself.

Bitches. The nation is filled with ungrateful, idiotic bitches
There is no push back against these morons. We need to form groups to fight back, we all know power is in numbers.
If they were able to get a hold of the flag, they would have undoubtedly burned it.
