Its just the flu, bro.
Not sure what the media focus will be today - CV, Floyd riots and BLM, or maybe go back to their old friend global warming. They also like to discuss the intersection of these things - GW and CV were tied together (one example of many) by having Greta the angry teenager on a panel discussing CV. The riots and CV tie together because BLM is a health issue that predates and trumps CV, and therefore riots are an acceptable occasion to break lockdown (or so health experts say). It will come - the brilliant article tying riots, CV and global warming together as really one issue. And the conclusion will be that Trump will need to be voted out.

And the conclusion will be that Trump will need to be voted out. That's optimistic to say the least.

Puerto Rico just adjusted its number of confirmed cases from 5,329 to 1,403, and confirmed deaths from 144 to 63. They are now counting “suspected” cases separately. That is, if the case or death was certified by an MD based on a suspicion and not a confirmed test, they are counted separately.
I will post the news item separately soon.

Well it seems here in Pennsylvania the COVID lockdown has entered a phase of disintegrating chaos.
The PA Legislature finally summoned up the cajones to pass a joint resolution ending Gov. Wolf’s state of emergency. The statute clearly says that upon passage of such resolution the emergency SHALL end.
But Wolf is resisting and taking it to court. Leaving everything up in the air in a state of limbo as to whether we are actually in a state of emergency or not.
Yesterday Wolf backed down and said that mask wearing was not required. Despite saying the opposite for weeks. Virtually every store here has a sign on the door saying “Masks required by Order of the Governor”. Now what?

The last 7-10 days have noticed a YUGE increase in people wearing masks regardless of whether it's a big box or grocery store and many of the retail places opening up.
Can only surmise that these folks are the ones that believed everything the MSM told them, and most likely stayed in their houses like good little pawns. They jump back from you like you have blood squirting from your ears like Ebola or something.
I do a lot of mountain hiking around Reno, never saw a single mask all this time until this week in the high hills - kid you not a few days ago was about 8,500' up in Mt. Rose at the snow level were three people headed my way about 25 yards away all grabbed their cloth masks (yes you can read a sign through the t-shirt kind) up over their snotty noses like a school of fish in unison waiting for me to pass.
Feel sorry for these kind of people, they're even more deranged than the fools driving their cars on the e-way. They really believe that a mask somehow protects them.
