It always follows that the more moderate protest movement will be seized by the most hateful, violent and power-hungry type. Thus the moderate Mensheviks were ousted by violent, hateful Bolsheviks who devoured the Mensheviks and then went on to murder millions of men, women, and children prior to their own ouster by the psychopathological Stalin.
This was said in earnest, I think, but brings to mind a column by William Buckley decades ago in which he argued, tongue-in-cheek, that whites should avoid interracial marriages to prevent mixed-race children who would be identified as black.
His reasoning would be as true today as then. He said conventional wisdom held: black children are not allowed to get an education; black children are killed by police the first chance they (police) get; black children can't get health care; young blacks can't get a job; colleges discriminate against blacks - can't get a higher education; blacks aren't allowed to buy a good home; blacks aren't allowed to . . .
He concluded by asking why would any sane adult want to bring another black child into a world if they thought any of this was true?
