My theory is that after a week of shocking the public psyche with unthinkable violence and mayhem, the plan is to stop for a period to give people a sense of relief. I think this is intended to manipulate the public into supporting “the cause”, like victims of Stockholm syndrome. Especially because we’ve been fed this false narrative of the “peaceful protesters” and the “violent outsiders”, these pauses may be intended to build sympathy for the “protesters” whose cause, don’t you know, has just been falsely tarnished by these violent strangers that “have nothing to do with them.”

If my theory is right, I would expect to see repeating cycles of mayhem, followed by relative calm.

There are 3 main groups involved. Peaceful protesters, criminals, and antifa type organizations. Antifa is using the other 2 groups to provide cover for what they are doing. My guess is Antifa is behind setting most of the fires. I’ve seen some videos were Antifa bots set fires and then use the big crowds as cover to make a run for it. Once Antifa has decimated an area, there is no real reason for peaceful protestors and criminals to show up. I think that is why you hear talk about try to get criminals to loot in the suburbs. They need the cover. If peaceful protesters have moved to parks, there is not a lot to destroy.

I agree it looks like a strategy. Calm after the crisis.

The question is why did it all collectively stop everywhere at the same time.

To me it appears either a group like Antifa told their members to stop or someone told Antifa to stop.

What it looks like to me is there is there is an organized network that has the power to start and stop these events.

What is that network? How are they spreading the word? If they're using Twitter or Facebook or private communications they are leaving evidence of their organization and it should be simple to expose who is coordinating these events.

The DOJ can find every 'right-wing extremist' posting comments on the internet but they can't find a single member of Antifa organizing violence.

Why?

A very interesting theory...

My area has been “quiet” for last several days as well...Los Angeles County...No report of looting...

On Friday, there was some protest in Lakewood, California...It started out OK...But, later, some protesters wanted to pick a fight with LA County Sheriff Deputies...
Nonlethal options had to be used...

https://ktla.com/news/local-news/deputies-deploy-pepper-ball-rounds-smoke-as-lakewood-protest-ends-in-very-ugly-way/

I have not heard of any other case, in LA County, where some protesters tried to pick a fight with officers...I am talking about last few days...
