As a lifelong LA Ram fan, I could have told you this about him and any other Taints player from the beginning of time until today.

I am also a lifelong Rams fan, but for most of my life the Saints weren't really a threat, just as the Falcons weren't when both teams were in the four team NFC West. The Cowboys and 49ers were more worthy of contempt. However, Brees won a Super Bowl, which is something that Vince Ferragamo and Jared Goff did not do. For champions, we have Kurt Warner, Norm Van Brocklin and Bob Waterfield. Unfortunately for the Saints, Brees is in a no-win situation. Would his linemen let him get injured in order to give Winston a shot? I don't think so, but I have seen worse behaviour from NFL players.

Screw NBC. They are nothing. Is there anyone who still watches it? Not me. Nor probably many others either.

I’m not sure about that. I think a lot of conservatives are fed up with network television. They are opting for Netflix, etc.

NEVER EVER APOLOGIZE.

As soon as you waffle they smell the blood in the water and want even more. There’s no end to the demands.

Refuse to apologize and then the hyenas will go away and go after the weaker animals.

Trump knows this. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER APOLOGIZE. F ‘em!

Over 600,000 dead and wounded under that flag, 1861-1865. Meaningless.

Well, if the American flag doesn’t mean anything, then the pervert rainbow flag doesn’t either, so we can burn those just for kicks

I was a big sports fan in the past. No more.
= = =

I would watch a replay of Pete Carroll calling the Super Bowl losing, game ending play.

A few time.

Hey, how about those Mexican flags?

I see them in the Los Angeles ‘protests’

“ And yet, conservatives will head back to the NFL...”

This combat veteran officer pleads with you to stop patronizing the NFL.

You are exactly correct on both points.

If you don’t believe enough in what you say to defend it against braying jackals, keep your mouth shut. It’s shameful, but less so than prostration before evil.

He also wrote this nonsense - which says children may benefit by being raised by "good citizens" vs "good parents":

(A professor wrote) "When you have people who have a lot of wealth alongside this racial privilege, they're ultimately making decision that benefit their own kids, and I don't know how you really interrupt that...Everyone is trying to do the best for their kid," she says. "But I actually think that there are times when maybe the best interest of your own kid isn't actually the best choice. Ultimately, being a good citizen sometimes conflicts with being good parents. And sometimes maybe parents should decide to be good citizens over being good parents." That could mean voting to raise taxes so to better fund public schools. Maybe in our case it should have meant choosing a public school rather than a private one.

This would be funny if these liberals actually DID what they wrote, because their kids may turn out better than their parents. But they won't do it...

...but you can bet this pronouncement, e.g. forcing parents to NOT take kids to Church so they become "better citizens", will shortly be coming to a re-education camp near you.

A flag is just cloth and dye. An inanimate object. A thing that’s neither anointed nor sacred, but just a piece of fabric. It’s its story that gives it meaning. It means nothing unless you can recall that morning flying tattered and ripped over Ft. McHenry. Or you can envision it with the field of blue with the circle of thirteen stars. Or imagine the Irish Brigade carrying it with that gaudy fringe into the cornfield at Gettysburg. Or being raised on Iwo Jima by your grandfather, who died believing it was the defining moment of his life.
It’s just cloth and dye. Unless you a little knowledge, imagination and lots and lots of character. It’s not about what it is, but about what it means. From the hands of Betsy Ross to the one draped on my father’s coffin. And will one day adorn my coffin. The story conveyed by the image of red, white and blue is what it means to millions who share the common bond of finding meaning that transcends their own lives and bestows honor on the most humble and mundane and lowly. It’s more than cloth and dye; it’s the story that makes us Americans.

NBC’s “biggest mistake” is assuming that they are a news organization, or that they matter to anyone other than Nancy Pelosi’s politburo.
